Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. We do not charge a callout fee and will provide a free quote ahead of any work starting. If we attend and are unable to carry out any work, you won't be charged for our visit.

    Additionally, any new lock or hardware we have to install is covered by a 12 month warranty.

  • Yes. You never know who may still have a key, so changing the locks gives you full control and peace of mind.

  • In most cases, yes. We always aim for non-destructive entry first and will only replace a lock if it’s absolutely necessary.

  • It’s best to get it looked at early. Small issues can quickly turn into bigger (and more expensive) problems if left.

  • They can be useful in some situations, particularly for rental properties or businesses. We can advise on whether they’re right for you.

  • It depends on the job, but we always explain costs clearly before starting any work. Our callout charge is £XX.

  • Yes. We’ll explain what needs done and give clear pricing before any work begins, so there are no surprises.

  • Be wary of very low callout fees that increase significantly once the job starts. Always choose a local, established locksmith with a clear and honest approach.

  • We aim to respond as quickly as possible depending on your location and current workload. When you make contact with us we’ll let you know how long we will be.

  • Yes. We can secure your property quickly, replace damaged locks and advise on improving your security to prevent it happening again.

  • No. We do not provide safe opening services for either domestic or commercial safes. Our expertise is focused on locks, doors, windows and property security, and we are happy to recommend a specialist if you require assistance with a safe.

  • Not at all. We're happy working around pets and understand they're part of the family. Unless your pet is likely to become distressed or get in the way of the work, there's no need to shut them away.
